Why are moms so mean?

It's official: moms are mean. Proof? My very own mother told me it's possible my boyfriend has lost interest in me because I've put on weight.

    My mom has also said this to my sister and to me. But we are both still married, so it shows what she knew.

    In fact, to me, she also claimed that not only might he leave me for someone skinnier, but also someone blacker.
